Omnipresence is a private venue protection company that is small enough for the personal touch, but large enough to provide you with fully trained professional staff to handle all of your protection needs.

As owners of a private venue protection firm, we were tired of getting hit with the comment “what makes you any different than the other security companies”? We were determined to find a way to give our clients the peace of mind when hiring our services.

 

Our protection staff are very passionate about protecting individuals. They are proven professionals with years of practical risk management experience. Backgrounds range from law enforcement, disaster management, military control and command to emergency medicine and search and rescue. Protective staff are trained in a variety of disciplines so that they are able to efficiently combine a broad knowledge base with technical expertise.

 

Each assignment begins with a meeting between the client's representatives and one of the directors of Omnipresence. The needs of the client are determined and a proposal is presented to fulfill the duties involved.

 

Omnipresence is often assigned to protect a client once he or she is in a secure environment. This could be a residence, an office or even a restaurant. After the location is cleared and the client is determined secure, the agents assume many different roles. Agents have a clear understanding of the property including access points, boundaries, floor plans and safe zones. All individuals on the premises are accounted for and any visitors are properly screened and announced. Diligent logs are kept of all activity, and patrols of the perimeter are done randomly. All deliveries are screened and payments are arranged for services rendered. The agents also have emergency contact information along with pertinent medical histories.

 

Our dispatch center also conducts roll call every hour on every protection staff member on duty and our patrol supervisors inspect every staff member on a shift.

Worried parents are hiring security guards to escort their children home from school.

Mothers in middle-class suburbs have turned to the private patrols over fears that their children could be attacked.

The guards meet children from the school bus and ensure they reach their homes safely.

Alex Morehead, head of a security firm in Raleigh, North Carolina, said his company had been contacted by teenage girls who were too scared to go home alone.

His firm, Hocroft Trading and Security, already offered a 'Meet and Greet' service to women who felt vulnerable returning home alone and has now extended it to include their children.

The pupils use their mobile phones to call the security guards if they want an escort.

Mr Morehead said: "Three 15-year-old girls started calling every single day. As soon as they come off the bus, we go and meet them and we will follow them home."

He said his firm received 25 to 30 calls a day. He believed a spate of robberies in Raleigh had increased the fear of crime, with women targeted as they let themselves into their homes.
